You can chose category which type of video you want to
upload.
Now your channel is ready to use

Go to upload a video on option upload
when you click on upload this window is open now you can
easily upload any video.

When your account is enable for monetization then monetize
your video by using following step
Youtube home page
Video manager
Channel setting
Monetization= click on enable my account
Now your account is enable for earn money and you can easily
connect with adsense
